Bring heroes, villains, and creatures to life by sculpting high-poly models, baking game-ready meshes, and authoring PBR textures. You’ll iterate with animation and tech art to make sure every character looks and moves just right.
What We’re Looking For
Strong artistic eye for proportion, anatomy, and silhouettes
Sculpting skills; experience retopologizing for games
Texturing with Substance Painter; familiarity with UE5 groom workflows a plus
Bonus: basic rigging & skin-weighting
Portfolio featuring finished real-time characters from start to finish (show us your process)
What You’ll Do
Create high-poly and low-poly game-ready characters, creatures or NPCs
Author clean UVs, bakes and texture sets (Albedo, Normal, Roughness, etc.)
Integrate characters into Unreal Engine 5, testing materials and shaders
Iterate on feedback from Art Direction and Animation to hit style targets
Document character pipelines for future interns
